LCC is owned by Brad Malamud who is the sole shareholder and has been the sole shareholder since inception.  LCC does not sponsor or support any client’s business and is independent of all clients and vendors.

Legal Bill Review

LCC reviews legal billing using its S.C.A.L.E. software. All legal bills are verified for math errors and then the fees are allocated by work performed, and the costs are categorized by type. Over 30 reports are then available for analysis. LCC works with some of the countries top experts, including Jim Schratz, Barger & Wolen, Bates, Mechler, Ken Moscaret, and others.   LCC and Brad Malamud have been reviewing legal bills for over 20 years. Turnaround time is the quickest in the industry.

Construction Defect Accounting

LCC has been performing Construction Defect Accounting for over 10 years. Our C.L.A.I.M.S. software is the industry leader. The features include automatic reallocation as payers are added or removed, as well as being able to account for tender dates, S.I.R.s, sharing payers, exhaustion of policy limits, etc.  Reports are sent via email to law firms, payers, and vendors.  A staff of 8 is divided into department to insure that payers, vendors, and payments are performed professionally in a timely manner.  Our staff is the difference between LCC and our competitors.

Since 2000, LCC has processed over $450,000,000, and 120,000+ vendor invoices, and over 1,000 matters.  This makes LCC the most experienced and largest CD accounting firm.

EMPLOYEE THEFT POLICY $1,000,000

Effective October 3, 2011, LCC has placed in force a $1,000,000 employee theft policy.  Numerous insurers requested that LCC add this policy.  This protects the client accounts from internal employee theft.

Reports are sent via email.  Copies of Invoices are  provided free, via email.

Vendors, attorneys, and adjusters can access their current status, and obtain reports, directly from our web portal. 

Over 100 reports are available for payers, vendors, and law firms.

Cross case reports are available for vendors and law firms.

Email notification of funds deposited by LCC into Client Account can be sent automatically to the law firm.

Legal Bill Review
S.C.A.L.E. 2011 has been updated to provide semi-automated “artificial inteligent” analysis of fees and costs.  This new feature will allow LCC to review legal bills at a reduced charge, thus allowing LCC’s services to be used by outside experts and consultants where cost restraints limit a full bill review.  This new service will allows most large cases to be analyzed in less than two weeks.

Employee Theft Insurance Policy
Effective 10-3-2011. LCC has purchased an employee theft policy in the amount of $1,000,000.
